This song was played quite a bit in Florida in 1990 clubs like 506 in Tally and Aahz in Orlando. It's got a feel like Snap - "The Power" with deep synth lines and a rap (even with the dub ver ) with the female screaming "I Need Rhythm" instead of "I've got the power", but the breakbeats behind it and the infectious bassline make this a floor filler.bezogen auf I Need Rhythm (CD, Maxi-Single) 9031-71600-2

I Need Rhythm (Power Groove Mix) - A solid and groovy hip-house that's for sure with a powerful beat, groovy bass line, stab synths and powerful female vocals. For some reason, the rap vocals that are present on the album version are removed from this mix. You have the female vocals and the some male shouting
I Need Rhythm (808 Cut) - Just a short version of the "Power Groove Mix" with some different percussion. Lazy Filler
I Need Rhythm (Pray The Dub) - This mix is the "Power Groove Mix" just a bit longer and slightly re-arranged. Why it is called dub I don't know, because it has the same vocals as the "Power Groove Mix". Just more lazy and pointless filler

This single is a waste. You have four identical half instrumental versions of the song. If you are a big fan of Splash and want to get a hold of everything they have released then by all means. But other than that, just wast
