I completely missed out on this album until now, that is February 2023. If you like Miles Davis' In A Silent Way or Bitches Brew, then this is a must for you.

Very enjoyable, very different feel from McCann's work before. Feels like a tribute to A Silent Way from Miles. Mastered and pressed well as you'd expect from the era. Timeless music that sounds fresh today. Recommended for chilled late night listening.

This is both a Repress and a Reissue. Records seem to be just newly labeled. Runouts and pressing ring look the same as on 1972 release. Probably old stock copies were used. But this is released 1977 at earliest. Anyway a great record.

This CD is mastered very, very loud! Heavy compressin, the waveform shows nearly no dynamics! Yet it´s still listenable.

Reminds me a lot of Miles' "In A Silent Way"-- nice long mellow grooves with lots of interplay and subtle flourishes, borderline ambient music in places.
