- I came across to this album and Melanie via streaming. I was expected a bit less boomy and boosted lowe bass on vinyl, well, it is in the mix still there. Music is nice, the mix could have been a hair lighter on bass and better readable in bass.
Vor 2 Jahren bearbeitetSadly my copy is full of surface noise. Side A has a lot of superficial scratches and also a ring wear because of the CD. Side B is also pretty noisy.- Vor 5 Jahren bearbeitetFantastic album, though it isn't quite the equal of the previous album, "No Deal". I miss the more layered arrangements of the full band. That said, her cover of "Afro Blue" is just astounding. Hypnotic. There is something particularly intimate about this album (intimate in a different way than "No Deal" is intimate), since it's largely all done by her on her own.
Sounds amazing! Clean flat pressing. Dynamic and nice soundstage. This one was done right!
