Hale Bob – Mental Atmosphere

Not often true but the b-side is the best track on this record. A real Mark EG & M-Zone gem, Andromeda is a real-spaced out, far -reaching, sedative hard trance classic, not least for the vocals in the breakdown "aut urgen murst" (in a computerised german voice, i havent a clue what this means!). The way the keys then bring in the melody afterwards works wonders, with the sweeping echo sample layered on top during the breakdown provide the final bit of a magic for a true masterpiece. Featured on tons of compilations not least the rave master series and hardtrance volumes, hard trance fans should own this vinyl. The lead track mental atmosphere isnt much in my opinion its not as catchy as andromeda and is quite boring to be honest, but dont let this put you off buying this one.
