I love this set. Beautifully pressed very quiet vinyl. The cover is very well designed. I can’t find any faults. A bargain at only €29 on Amazon.
This record has a mix of songs not found on other live records. It is a BBC recording, which is not as polished as most live recordings for vinyl. However, the fact that it is not as produced makes it more intimate and in the moment.
Overall pretty good but Side B track 1 skips in the beginning, the record itself has a little imperfection in it from pressing plant, anyone else run into this issue?
Vor 2 Jahren bearbeitetFinally got a chance to own and listen to this and some impressions. The sound is generally good. There are some performances that I could do without for sure, like on the first side of the second disc, including a particularly botched version of Fuck Me Pumps, where she doesn't even pronounce the lyrics with annoying affectations. I liked the concert on the third disc. Also to listen as a whole is exhausting because of its length and because of the repetition of songs in different settings. I think I will return to it in increments because a lot of it is impressive. Love the few rarities of songs not on her LPs. Is any of this material on any of the compilations she's put out like the Amy soundtrack or the lousy Lioness scraps album? I need to buy special sleeves to house the set in since it's extra big.- Great art work. Beautifully done. However
Sound quality is just ok. - The gatefold jacket is an odd size. Doesn't fit any outer sleeves I have.
Beautiful set! I'm very happy with it. The sound is nice, the pictures are good and the records are flat... The only thing I don't like is the Red/Purple combination, kinda clashes but whatever.
Lovely, came in today, listened to all 3 records. Great mood and quiet vinyl. Thumbs up!
Excellent quality pressings and the BBC excel as usual with the quality of mixing and recording. An absolute must for any fan of Amy.- Beautiful flat vinyl. BBC sound, as always, nicely balanced and detailed. Only complaint would be having to add my own poly lined inner sleeves.
