Rezensionen
- Vor 2 Monaten bearbeitetChris Bellam cut this. Did a great job. The Reprise LP that has the DTLA label on it stinks. This one not so much. Problems: Second Hand News loops the end, but Dreams is fine (CD had the last note edited abruptly). The Chain is missing the "F*ck!" and sigh at the beginning. Gold Dust Woman starts without the fade-in. Pressed at Optimal. Sound is great, and cut at a normal volume so it should not skip on cheap turntables.
- Vor 2 Monaten bearbeitetBellman cut gets you half way to the Gray/Hoffman 45rpm edition. It’s ok, but certainly no cigar. Artwork is low resolution - this is how you can differentiate the CB from the HL cut. Pressing is quiet and flat.
- Great pressing of a great album. Dead silent with astonishing detail throughout. Mine has a poly lined paper sleeve with separate insert for lyrics/photos.
- Just a very good album. Great music and a good pressing on a flat record. I very happy with this album. I hope you are too :-)
- Very impressed by this. Powerful drums and can pick out every voice in the harmony. Such a fluidity to the guitar parts too. Much better than my 80s reissue. A job well done.
- Sounds really good. CB in the deadwax. The only downsides are that it’s not flat (doesn’t affect the sound) and the cheap paper sleeve.
- Stunning reproduction of this fantastic album, at last a vinyl lp that can hold it's head well above water compared to the 1977 first pressings.
- Vor 9 Monaten bearbeitetI didn't really have any problems with this pressing unlike others seem to have here. It sounds good, not outstanding, but perfectly fine. My copy has very low surface noise and had no issues with skipping or very noticeable distortion. One nitpick; This record comes with a typical terrible paper inner sleeve which I suggest you replace ASAP.
Judging by the other comments here I'd say this pressing is a bit of a gamble. Your mileage may vary. - This pressing sounds weird. That’s all. It’s not bad, and actually has good dynamics, but I’ve never heard it sound like this.
- Has anybody else noticed a lot of distortion with this pressing...especially towards the end of each side? Not sure if it is my system or not; however, I have not noticed the same level of distortion on other records...just this one. The pressing has moments of great sound, but the the distortion I'm hearing does affect overall enjoyment...
