I agree with the other comments. This is the best picture disc I've ever heard. Flawless.
Not just good to look at,but also to listen to.- I was swayed by the reviews here and bought it. It's really only good for making a nice wall clock. There is noise in the background, like a storm, but I could still understand that. But I really don't understand a lot of different flakes and cracks. I definitely do not recommend it for listening. The only positive thing is the price, I bought it here for about €10.
- Compared to other editions on pictures-vinyls, not bad, but not good, mediocre. Surface noise and clicks, little dynamics. What is more important for you to look at a spinning bright record or sound quality!?
- I don't understand why so many rave reviews.....Sound like porridge,very low level of record -20dB!!!! But very high surface noise!!! Maybe OK for some DIY persons,who can make wall clock from that LP.But not for music lovers. Avoid picture disc edition!!!
Very interesting mastering on vinyl, these are their better songs since they meet again.
This is their best album since Alpha. Especially so since this is well mastered for vinyl, and sounds better than any picture disc I have ever heard. The album is too long for a single disc really (48mins?), so the volume needs to be cranked up.- For a picture disc the sound of this record is phenomenal. Why they don’t cut all picture discs at half speed is beyond me as you get a cool looking vinyl with great sound. Worth the pick up.
- Vor 3 Jahren bearbeitetI've always been skeptical about picture discs, knowing how they sound and what they are for. But this one is very decent: good dynamics, sound level is a bit low though, very minimal surface noise (mostly low frequency hiss, audible between tracks). I may need to wash it, because my needle picks up some distortion near the end of both sides. However, I'm overall happy with this pressing. Also big thanks to user douglots, whose review convinced me to buy this record!
Best sounding picture disc I’ve ever heard. I was skeptical buying this, however seeing it was mastered at half speed, I figured it was worth a shot! Super clean and dynamic.
