- Edited 11 months agoFew words about this EP as it seems to be a bit "mysterious" release.
As the cryptic title and Notes suggest this EP was handed out to visitors of Mikrodisko/R.A.N.D Muzik Party in Leipzig in 2010.
It contains 5 tracks from the Mikrodisko and R.A.N.D. (or should I say "Workshop") families contributing with tracks which might be or not previously (later?) released.
First of all, I really do not understand why they decided to put 20 minutes of material on A side playing on 33 and 11 minutes on B side playing 45. A side is dead silent and I mean DEAD silent, making it almost impossible to be played at party. 30 minutes could be definitely distributed better across 12inch.
First one in the game is Lowtec and his beautiful ambient track which is actually called "Nature Thinks For You" and was re-released in 2021 here:

A2 belongs to the mysterious Tom Pascalis and his deep techno journey is one of the highlights of the EP. Wish it wouldn't sound as it sounds :(
A3 Mikrodisko's own Demian with his nice and lovely Experimental/IDM excursion.
B1 Aaah, Kassem at his best. I have a lot of stuff from him, but I'd swear I do not recognize this crazy broken beat techno clicking at 120 bpm. Maybe someone can help here with ID.
B2. Ambient skit, nice add-on.
Overall, great EP destroyed by the muted A Side. However, that Kassem's B Side is worth every penny.
