Edited one year agoThis EP has aged incredibly well. Not sure Rene was at his happiest making tracks this accessible and housey, and B2 feels a lot like some pent up techno aggression getting let out. However, even if it was a genre exercise for him in places, its a remarkable testament to the artist that even in passing, the techno legend was able to casually drop us some deep house classics as an aside.
Wantlist percentage and pricing/availabilty similarly seem to indicate that this is one of, if not THE stand-out Shed EP as well, likely due to the confluence of potency and accessibility.
