Okay... It is cool maybe to have in a collection because it literarily includes all tracks P.Green did with the bluesbreakers. But, if coming to the sound quality, it is a crap. I have compared it to the original press and late original mono reissue that I ended up with getting to my collection. Vinyl lovers press sounds 25% quieter with muddy bass and not clear highs also is having background noise. Shitty sounding press as all of the Vinyl lovers “reissues”. I got mine for like $7 mint and that`s why I got it. You have to manipulate with EQ to get it a bit better and acceptable to listen to.
Great version and excellent quality, I do not have the original as a comparison but it sounds good to me when compared to the digital high res version I own (sans the awesome bonus tracks). The bonus Green tracks are fantastic, they were not released on the Green era bluesbreaker albums, but they can be found on later John Mayall compilations like "Thru The Years" and "Looking Back".
