Anmerkungen
Released in a front laminated flipback cover (two flipbacks: only at top and bottom of back cover, not along spine), printed in the UK. Release has matrix/runout codes XEX 579-1 and XEX 580-1 in the deadwax, which makes this the so called 'loud cut'.
Different from Rubber Soul in not having Rubber Soul - The Beatles next to the spine on back cover.
Source: "First so-called 'loud cut' version of Rubber Soul: "Shortly into the production run, EMI decided that Moss had cut the album too loud and ceased production. After Moss re-cut mono lacquers on November 19, new metal parts were made, and Hayes resumed pressing the album. The albums pressed with stampers generated from the initial lacquers were not destroyed and can be identified by the "-1" following the XEX 579 (Side 1) and XEX 580 (Side 2) matrix numbers..." [Bruce Spizer, 'Beatles For Sale On Parlophone, p. 204]
For the first time, the record-sleeves (at least for mono-edition) were printed in Holland as well (information taken from 'Beatles Worldwide I' book by Christoph Maus, second edition remixed and remastered)

Rezensionen
- Avoid all the UK " loud cut " #1 matrix deadwax numbers of this classic record . They sound terrible compared to later UK pressings .
- Since this Dutch mono version carries the cat.numbers XEX 579-1 and XEX 580-1 in the deadwax, doesn't that make this a so called "Loud Cut" as well? From what I can find online, everywhere it says that the "-1" matrix numbers are from that "Loud Cut". If someone can confirm, then it should be amended in this submission as well, correct?
