Also on Atlantic as Chic 'Chic' MS/MT 5049 (Chic - C'est Chic).
This was the fore-runner to C'est Chic, but was recalled by Atlantic Records one week into its UK release as the group preferred a more cosmopolitan cover design to the rather risque Tres Chic version.

Back Cover the producer credits refer to "Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards", the writing, arrangement and conducting credits refer to "Bernard Edwards and Nile Rodgers" and on the record labels they refer to "Bernard Edwards & Nile Rodgers"

'Dance Dance Dance' and 'Everybody Dance' are the single versions, not full-length.

Quite an eye-opener this one, more for the album cover than the tracks. Atlantic withdrew this UK version of K50565 and replaced it with C'est Chic within a week of release. Hard to find and very very rare. The tracks are well known to true Chic fans and have stood the test of time - slick, smooth grooves, hypnotic and pure class.

Nile & Bernard really made Chic a world-wide success with the release of this album, which in my opinion was the best album they released. It spawned two of their biggest hits - Le Freak and I Want Your Love. Chic Cheer went on to be sampled by Faith Evans.
