This pressing sounds great, bought it at a London Drugs for like $27 about 9 years ago, this album was very well recorded, in Jimi Hendrix' house, it sounded great in 91 on cd, and it sounds great on this pressing too!
Mine also sounds flat. Bass is very weak. It needs more Fleaaaaa!
Does anyone has this version with the side-four-label printed on both sides of the second disc? The tracks are the right ones though.
Fantastic dynamic sound, very balanced mix. I like the old CD, it has good dynamics too, but it lacks bass and it's too trebly, so I'd always use equilizer. This is perfect. Go for it! (No lyric sheet, though.)- I bought it in 2016,it had just appeared in the shop; seems to be release date?
Fantastic sound and balanced mix. Don't hesitate to get yourself a copy of the funkiness on this LP.
If you happen to come across a sealed copy of this be careful not to mistake it for a 1991 original European pressing. It has the exact same barcodes as that pressing with no mention of it being made in 2011 anywhere on the cover. Only way to know for sure is to crack it open.
Impressive sound quality on this pressing, probably one of the best I own. Crystal clear with no popping or crackling whatsoever.
Sound quality on my copy is excellent. Too bad there are no printed inner sleeves.
I am not disappointed with the pressing of this LP. The SQ is also very good.
