- This is one of those "I wouldn't start here" recordings if you were off to explore the world of Neil Young. Try as I might, I can't shake off the impression of lethargy that accompany these workouts. From the pen to the music and into the performance and production all the effort is going towards fighting inertia. Only the final two tracks get me nodding, rather than nodding off. For completists or bulking out your CD shelves.
