Recommendations
Reviews
- never had and heard this on vinyl before but i definitely can recommend this reissue. only thing missing is an antistatic inner liner but overall it's a fantastic reproduction. the gatefold cover, the artwork, pressing, production - really, really good! i wish other manufacturers would take this as an example for the prices they call sometimes....
did i mention that it sounds fantastic? :-)) - Mi copia, gran sonido , dinámica, vinilo plano y silencioso......todas las rediciones que tengo de este grupo, suenan bien
- One of my favorite bands for more than 30 years :) I like these 2016 Depeche Mode reissues under the Legacy label.
Great album, great sound - assertive, detailed. The stage is wide, the balance is even. The outer envelope is made perfectly - the quality of printing and paper is at a height. The inner envelope is without antistatic, also very high quality. The disc is flat and heavy. The mass is quiet, I didn't hear any clicks. In general, the cover, disc and content are at a height of 5 out of 5. I recommend.
P.S. My reviews will be the same for the rest of the Depeche Mode albums reissued under the Legacy label in 2016.

[[AT-LP140]+[AT-VM95SP]+[PJ-Phono Box S 2 Ultra] - ive got a slightly newer version that doesnt appear to be listed yet on discogs. Run out etching is 16348. I believe this came came out in 2020. No legacy sticker on front. Legacy logo on back and on label with Sony, and Mute. Its all very inconsistent. Record is inside real inner sleeve. Flat and sounds great !
- Really good sounding record, I would go as far to say that it's probably one of the better remastered albums on the market. Overall a great sounding record, and the best debut album in my opinion. And I just can't get enough.
- Edited 3 years agoThis is a really good pressing for such an old recording, terrific mastering and lots of detail in the sound with plenty of bass. Highly recommended and an album that has (mostly) aged really well.
- Nowadays this music seems infantile and childish, but the press quality is incredible for such record, heavy bass refrain in "puppets" will get you down to the bone.
