- Vor 3 Monaten bearbeitetMy Belgian version of the album has dark blue labels w/ silver print and has title misprinted as 'Mood Madness' on both sides. Any ideas?
- The vinyl of my copy looks perfect as does the gatefold sleeve. It is graded Near Mint because it has been played as per Discogs guidelines/Goldmine standard.
- Vor 3 Jahren bearbeitetThis is one of the trickiest albums to find mint for some reason. It seems to always have groove wear, especially towards the end side tracks. Ive listened to countless copies and they always have a few spindle lines on the label, signifying its been played, likely by a record changer.
But its so strange because no matter how perfect the copy is advertised as its always worn. Maybe the vinyl is really fragile here for some reason? Im almost convinced its necessary to have a sealed copy of this to truly get it mint.
Sounds great if you can get it clean though. - Quite simply the best Camel album of all time. It was the band's fourth effort and it was never surpassed. The last album to feature the classic line-up of Bardens, Latimer, Ferguson and Ward, we have a mix of instrumental and vocal tracks, the latter coming back after album three 'The Snow Goose' which had been completely instrumental.
There are so many highlights on this album that it is unfair to pick out favourites - but I will anyway! The opening track "Aristillus" has always been my #1 track, but it's closely followed by "Air Born". Hell, I just love them all!
If you only ever buy one Camel album make sure that it's this one!
