Fragrance: electronic music in 4 parts on 4 CDs. Each of the 4 parts is a complete composition in itself. Fragrance, however, is also suitable for playing all 4 CDs concurrently via 8 loudspeakers: whoever has access to 4 CD players and 4 stereo units, can play Fragrance 1-4 almost parallel to each other. Exact synchronization is not necessary.
Playing with non-synchronization opens up new possibilities.
4 CD players with automatic replay funktions can make Fragrance to a sound installation of indefinite time.
