Top 25 Best-Selling Records in November 2022

The best-selling records list for November includes reissues of classic records and multiple live albums that capture legendary artists in their prime.

It’s not surprising that tons of music fans visited Discogs to pick up Record Store Day Black Friday releases that they couldn’t find in their local shops. Brand-new pressings of Captain Beefheart And The Magic Band’s Clear Spot and The Cure’s Wish were among the most frequently purchased records in November. 

Other notable RSD releases that made the list include a reissue of The Dead Milkmen’s Metaphysical Graffiti, a picture disc pressing of Olivia Newton-John’s Physical, and a classic David Bowie and Bing Crosby Christmas collaboration pressed on candy cane-colored vinyl. 

Live albums from the most recent RSD drop also ended up in quite a few new collections. Live material from The Doors, The Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, and Duran Duran all secured a place in the top 25. The Doors album also includes a previously unreleased song, which made it one of the most desirable RSD Black Friday releases this year.
