The best-selling records on Discogs in April 2024 include highly anticipated reissues, new releases, and live albums from Record Store Day 2024.
Since Record Store Day took place on April 20, 2024, this year’s exclusive releases have quickly become best-sellers. Sought-after reissues from Blur, Collective Soul, The Sisters Of Mercy, and Team Sleep all cracked the top 25 this month.
Brand new releases from RSD 2024 also topped the best-selling list in April. The latest album from Pearl Jam, a split 7” from Noah Kahan and Olivia Rodrigo, and a 12” EP featuring unreleased Garbage tracks all made their way into growing record collections.
Various live records were pressed for Record Store Day and a few albums from big name artists were among the best-selling releases of the month. Live recordings from The Weeknd, The 1975, Talking Heads, and The Rolling Stones inspired quite a few collectors to track down RSD titles on Discogs.
Other notable releases include a 3-LP pressing of the South Park 25th Anniversary Concert, a limited-edition Daft Punk 12”, and a 7” featuring a Bad Brains cover performed by Dave Grohl and members of Anthrax.
