The list of best-selling records on Discogs has returned! The October 2022 edition includes new albums from popular artists, reissues of celebrated classics, and a few out-of-print titles that are no strangers to the best-selling list. 

Taylor Swift’s Midnights and the latest Arctic Monkeys’ album made the list, even though they were both released on October 21st. In only 10 days, these records still sold enough copies to claim spots in the top 10 for the month. 

Recent reissues of the first Queens Of The Stone Age album, George Michael’s Older, and the Butthole Surfers’ Independent Worm Saloon all landed in the top 25. A 2011 reissue of The Smashing Pumpkins’ Siamese Dream and a 2016 edition of Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side Of The Moon also found their way into quite a few new collections. 

In addition to Older, the classic George Michael album Faith has reclaimed a spot on the list alongside the self-titled album from Tracy Chapman. These two releases are often recognized as best sellers since they haven’t been reissued in several years. The late ‘80s pressings featured here regularly attract the attention of collectors looking to own these iconic albums on vinyl.
