The best-selling records on Discogs in November 2023 include previously unreleased material from legendary rock acts, live recordings, and sought-after reissues.
The Beatles made international music news with the release of “Now And Then,” a previously unfinished song that John Lennon recorded as a demo back in 1977. After a failed attempt to finish the song in 1995, the song sat for several more years before Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney were able to finally piece it all together with the help of AI. Released as a single on November 2, 2023, six different versions of Now And Then / Love Me Do made the top 25 last month.
Two pressings of Linkin Park’s Lost Demos also cracked the top 25. Recorded before and during the Meteora sessions, and first released on CD earlier in 2023 as part of the Meteora 20th Anniversary Deluxe Box Set, these songs are available on vinyl for the first time with this standalone release.
Live records from the Doors, Coheed And Cambria, the Grateful Dead, Bill Evans, Limp Bizkit, and Gram Parsons & the Fallen Angels all made this month’s best-selling list. Live albums have continued to rise in popularity since 2020, when many fans realized live music could disappear overnight.
Additional top-selling releases include RSD reissues of Rilo Kiley’s Under The Blacklight and U2’s Under A Blood Red Sky and new releases from Kim Petras and Olivia Rodrigo.
