The Grammy Awards celebrate some of the biggest names in music, but they also showcase lesser-known releases with lavish collectible packaging.
The Grammy awards are often given to the music industry’s most popular artists, but the gold-plated gramophones are also handed out for more niche achievements in deluxe packaging and design that may be of greater interest to collectors.
The nominees below for Best Recording Package and Best Boxed Or Special Limited Edition Package include collector’s gold releases with details like a lenticular 3D cover, a flocked blacklight-sensitive jacket, and hidden messages that are visible with “decoder red” vinyl.
