From highly collectible soul records to a city pop rarity, these are the most expensive releases sold on Discogs in April 2024.
The most valuable releases sold in April 2024 include rare psychedelic rock LPs, soul 45s, and hard-to-find promo releases.
In April 2024, serious collectors snatched up a few psychedelic rock records that are incredibly rare. Japanese psych band Rotten Peach also made the list with the one and only pressing of their LP, limited to just 150 copies.
Obscure soul 45s also topped the most expensive list in April. Records from The Montclairs, The Sham-Ettes, Sam Williams, Timi Yuro, and The D.C. Blossoms all have 7” singles that cracked the top 25. The Sam Williams record is noteworthy because the pressing featured here is a rare promo version.
