Yet another pair of Legendary tracks from the belgian hard trance masters. Although both tunes on this release are in stark contrast to each other, they are (As so many of Hitch-Hiker & Dumondt tunes are) Anthems of the biggest magnitude.
Journey of Love, a hard trance track which builds up from the very beginning. The track starts off with the most subtle of pads, and the sound of birdsong, which is soon joined by the sample "This is a Journey.....into sound", slow building drum and mellow piano riff. Before you know it the hard, yet not too fast kickdrum and stocatto bassline appears taking us on the journey which is any Hitch-Hiker and Dumondt track from this time.
2nd Dimension on the other hand, starts where it means to go on. Launching straight into the rythym from the very moment the track begins with the sample "Welcome to the 2nd Dimension" and continues in a much darker vein than the A-side track. Filled with frenetic horn-like basslines, pounding drum loops and epic synth leads, 2nd Dimension is interspersed with strangely uplifting, breakdowns, creating an absolute masterpiece of a track that really does destroy the dancefloor. 2nd Dimension is a track which goes from Hard and Fast to slow and Mellow then back again, when you least expect it.
Both tracks combined together make this yet another Bonzai release an self-respecting Hard Trance head MUST own.
