What an incredible record, ashamed it's not already in my collection with my other Nico (RIP) bits.
I'm all over 'Hope' but 'Frontiers in the Dark' is goddam epic aswell.

For someone, Hope is the best track of the EP, for some its the Frontiers in the dark, and for others its Alpha, I think it speaks about the quality of this 1993 album... I vote Alpha while keeping an eye on a good copy to get.

'Frontiers in the Dark' really stands out on this EP. The experimental nature of the programming and use of the Clarinet was the reason I purchased it in '93. It still feels other worldly and timeless. Good work Ricardo.

Beautifully dark, deep and rhythmic release by Nico. The EP starts off with a rhythmic ambient Frontiers In The Dark (reminiscent to Heckmann's work), then progressively builds into trancier Hope and climaxing with the best track on the EP, a techno banger Alpha. Simply brilliant. Highly recommend checking out the rest of the label for more great classic 90s techno and hardcore releases.
