i have to agree shame the last track is not a full 12" the total playing is 75 minutes for this CD "invasion" is 4:00 minutes should have been 6:26 version like the cover shows? would have fitted perfect taking it to around 78:00 would have made the whole CD full 12"'s not sure if its a remix shame really fades out too so its an edit.

What a spectacular release by one of the lesser-known pioneers of electronic dance music. Dubbed as the "Cowley Sound" by some, Patrick Cowley's genius and creativity can be heard on this CD containing arguably his greatest works (well, sort of, because Tech-No-Logical World, They Came At Night and his megamix of Donna Summer's I Feel Love are missing here). Every single track on this CD is my favourite. His music sounds so much ahead of its time ...
Unfortunately, Patrick Cowley's life was cut short by AIDS in 1982. I cant imagine how many more fantastic productions, remixes and subsequently DJ sets we could have heard from him if he was alive today. In my mind, he would have easily eclipsed the likes of Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk and other artists that some people worship today.
Grab a piece of electronic music history. Go and buy this album and hear for yourself the wonderful music of Patrick Cowley, a style parallel to the likes of Georgio Moroder, Harold Faltermeyer and Jan Hammer.
