'The Rust Organic' is one of the most overlooked tracks I've ever come across. Hard to fathom how many collectors I've come across who are yet to recognise how special it really is. Truly one of my favs out there!

'Orchestra Hall' is one of the most unfairly neglected masterpieces in Theo Parrish's large catalogue, perhaps for the reason of being buried deep in the later part of the series of 12-inches on this side project, which received little fanfare at the time of release. Rarely heard out, it's a dark, brooding, thumping drama, with daring and unusual application of synth strings saturated in reverb, as the title implies. The lovely organic vocal house 'Take Me' on the flip is more easily placed with the rest of Theo's work, recalling 'Chemistry' or any number of other lighter moments and immediately showing the producer's distinctive style. Amazing that this single is not better known, as it certainly deserves reevaluation.

Mess I Made is my favourite from this series. Built on a simple live bass workout this record keeps growing, organically, up and down. Reverb, rough percussion and downplayed and perfect vocals from Genevieve Marentette. It sounds like Miles Davis from the 'In a Silent Way/Bitches Brew' era when Miles incorporated elements from a funk band mentality and began fucking about with effects and tape loops. A truly sublime piece of music.,,,,,'take me with you when I go'..... Go 'ed!!!!!
