Vincent De Moor (born 5 December 1973, Delft, Netherlands) is a Dutch trance artist. His career began in 1993 using the pseudonym Fix To Fax. He went on to collaborate with the record producer Ferry Corsten using the name Veracocha.

A recent comment regarding the disappearance of Vincent de Moor is the following, made by Twan who runs the youtube channel muzikxpress:

"Vincent de Moor, left the music industry ages ago, he is a very private person and I spoke to people that used to work with him and he's even very hard to reach for those people. He doesn't want to do any interviews and he has no desire or plans to return to the music industry So, the chances of getting a Vincent de Moor interview are like 0,000001 % unfortunately.. "

I think Vincent is just spending some time recharging his batteries, and hopefully he will return soon with some proper trance just like Shamu, Green Heaven, Sunflowers, Flowtation, Fly Away, Night Express 2000...

Too many to mention.

If he is tired of dance music, I don't blame him. It's become horrible, and the majority of guys still in the scene have long forgotten proper Trance.

Vincent needs to come back, the trance scene is rather pathetic at the moment due to sell out superstars and their wannabes.

I just wondered if anyone out there could shed any light on what Vincent De Moor is doing these days. I hardly heard any mention of him in recent years.
I see that his myspace profile was last updated in 2006 and just looking him up on wikipedia, it says that he's an intensely private individual who rarely gives interviews and fair play to him, but it's a real loss to the Trance scene, now that he no longer seems to be producing tracks at the moment.

I can honestly say, there aren't really that many producers of uplifting, melodic trance that I rate as highly as VDM. The only other producers that I think are capable of making trance that is very melodic, but without ever sounding commercial are Solarstone and Torsten Stenzel and Ronski Speed and a few others!

I certainly look back on the days back around 98/99 when I first heard Shamu and Flowtation with real fond memories.
Whatever he's upto, I wish him all the best!!

This is the man for beautiful thumping trance anthems such as Flowtation, Shamu, Fly Away, Silent Dance, Between 2 Fires and others. Beware, they are hidden among a few cheesy releases, but those that are good are up there with the likes of PvD's and Tilt's Rendezvous, Solar Stone's 7 Cities, Blank & Jones's Cream, PvD's For An Angel.. well you know what I'm talking about.
