Jon Carin

Jon Carin (born October 21, 1964) is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, producer and engineer. He has been known to play piano, synthesizer, drums, bass, guitar and lap steel guitar.

His first claim to fame came with being the lead singer of the band Industry (2), as well as being their keyboardist and songwriter. The band had a hit single with “State Of The Nation” (1982).

As a session player, he has performed with many well known artists including The Who, Pete Townshend, Richard Butler, and more famously with Pink Floyd, David Gilmour and Roger Waters. Among his Pink Floyd credits include co-writing the song “Learning To Fly.”
