Founded a vocal trio arround 1967, The Emotions (2) then, after that, became part of The Hippy Boys and going solo for the rest fo his long career.
He ran The Truth, Charmax Music & Romax labels
Had a UK hit in 1969 with 'Wet Dream' and worked extensively with producers Bunny Lee in the late '60s, Winston 'Niney' Holness early '70s and Lee Perry mid '70s. Also recorded for Bullwackie in the 1980s when he live in New York. His song ‘Chase The Devil’ was sampled and used by many artists including The Prodigy, Jay-Z and Tal (9).
He passed away of heart complications in a hospital in Saint Andrew Parish, Jamaica at the age of 80 on 11 April 2025.
