Tucky Buzzard - The Complete Tucky Buzzard
I have only listened to the first two so far. The first album, originally released by Hispavox, is a very poorly done rip from the original vinyl. The sound quality is quite bad and it’s clear that it wasn’t done professionally. As for the second album, it sounds very flat and lacks the depth and richness one would expect from a quality recording.

This box set has been quite a disappointment, especially for a collector who values high-fidelity audio and proper archival standards. The anticipation was high for a collection like this, particularly with the association to Bill Wyman Archives, but the execution has fallen short. The poor quality of the vinyl rip and the flat sound of the second album make me concerned about the overall quality of the remaining records in the set.

For collectors and audiophiles, the integrity of the source material and the quality of the recordings are paramount. Discovering that these albums do not meet those standards is disappointing. It’s essential to ensure that such releases maintain a high level of quality, both in the source material and the reproduction, to truly honor the music and satisfy dedicated fans and collectors.

I found that Demon Music were very helpful and quick to resolve an issue with a compilation album. They went above and beyond what i'd have expected to resolve the matter. I look forward to buying further releases from them as they are one of only a very few companies that have such great customer service.

Their Jesus and Mary Chain vinyl reissues are excellent - both pressing quality and mastering. Unfortunately, they seem to be out of print now and commanding prices equivalent to the original copies. If you see any out in the wild still, snap them up while you still can! They are the ones to have - avoid the Plain & 1972 reissues.

Keep Breathing (Red Vinyl) Durutti Column I was just wondering if there is a pressing problem with track 3 [Gun} on Disc 2? My original has a scratching sound about 2 thirds of the way through. I got a replacement from Amazon and the same thing is happening

I love this label so much I'm going to leave comment. I now own 5 reissues on the demon label and they are some of the best sounding records in my collection. Plus they are pressed superbly. I've never had any warp or streaking issues. Very reliable, quality vinyl. WILL CONTINUE TO BUY FROM THIS LABEL FOREVER.
