      The first single from ATB's second album "Two Worlds". This is the last single from ATB that has his signature pitch bend guitar sound.

      The Summer (Airplay Mix) - This song is very similar to his big hit "9 PM". I know ATB has said him self that he don't like "Don't Stop" cause it is to much a like "9 PM", but this song is basically "9 PM" in a different key and with a different pitch bend guitar riff. Even the melodic percussion sound is the same as in "9 PM", just playing a different melody pattern. And then you also have a female voice sample saying something. This song is just as minimalistic as "9 PM" in that you have the drums, bass, pads, melodic perc sound and the guitar riff. It is also very similar in it's arrangement with that of 9 "PM". But one big different between this song and "9 Pm" is that you have ATB himself singing a few lines in this song.

      The Summer (Clubb Mix) - Just the extended version of the song.

      The Summer (Instrumental Clubb Version) - Just an instrumental version that is arranged slightly diffrently from the clubb mix. It also has a bongo/ conga percussion added to it

      The Summer (Ibiza Influence Version) - This is the best version of the song by far. It starts of with some atmospheric pads that sets the mood right away, followed by some light drums ad ATB voices. after this the bass and strings come in to set the mood. After the intro, the song comes in with an awesome trance pluck, the guitar riff, a kind of "under water" atmospheric sounding pluck and a heavier beat.
      This version is awesome and my favorite version of the song. I never get tiered of this version. It is trance and chill out at the same time. Love it!

      Overall, the track list on this single is a bit boring. The big highlight of the single is the Ibiza Influence Version. But this version is also found on CD 2 of the album "Two Worlds". The Clubb Mix and Instrumental Clubb Version can get a tad bit boring.
      They are a bit minimalistic to be interesting to listen to for 7 min straight. They are not bad by any means, I like the original very much to, even better than "9 PM". But if the Clubb Mix and instrumental was shorten down to around 5 something min, then it would have worked better. But that is of course just my opinion.
      If you are a die hard fan of ATB and you want to get you hands on everything he has released or if you just love "The Summer" so much that the 7 min clubb mix is the best version, then I recommend that you add this single to you collection. But if you just happen to like the original and the ibiza version then I would recommend to just get the album "Two Worlds". It is an good album
