Elektra is beyond what any of these following words could possibly make it out to be. On a personal level, it is a saving grace, because it has brought me to a different level of thought and emotion that inspires me to keep going. The old line, "This song gives me goosebumps" is the bare minimum way to describe this song. Part of the reason this song is so profound is its genius combination of progressive trance, tech trance, and uplifting melodic trance. The true hallmark that this song delivers is the melody during the breakdown. Even if it were not for the deeply inspiring melody that this song rings through your head, this song would have stood out among the decade's best trance songs. It is one of the most inspiring, if not the most, songs I have heard in my lifetime.

The opening alone can grip you. Voices from deep in the back of the song into the song alternate between a high pitch and a low pitch while a "buzzing" sort of sounding bassline fades in. The bassline was a key player in driving this song to its ultimate uplifting quality. If you want a really massive experience, turn the bass up just enough so you can hear the bassline's "melody" parallel that of the main lead.

The song leaves you in a constant state of anticipation as it switches back and forth between the uplifting and the dark. The brilliant transition from the song's darker tones to more uplifting ones is apparent as celestial voices sing a short and simple, but haunting, melody which then drifts off into the distance as the song's build-up enters into the scene. The only way I can finish this is by saying, if you haven't heard this song yet, pick up a copy right now. I thank those two producers for developing such an inspiring, uplifting, and much needed song.
