Balearic trance at its finest. That melody screams summertime and beach vibes on the isle of Ibiza. The accoustic guitar really brings out that down-to-earth chillout feel, while the background groove keeps it energetic. Sounds like a contradiction but it just works in these circumstances. Almost as if it was made for the sunset hours, where you watch the ibiza sunset while hanging out, but are starting to get ready to head to the club. It's hard to explain.

The legendary talents from the trance project Signum turned in this charming tune after reverting to their dormant alias "Ron Hagen & Pascal M." Riddles In The Sand is in my opinion one of the most perfect instances of modern electronic music techniques fused together with a simpler and easy to love slew of summery Ibiza sounds. We see a sidechained bassline grooving rather nicely with the acoustic guitar, giving the song great rhythm and vibe. The melody is just absolutely enchanting and you really feel as though you are just sitting on a gentle beach at sunset somewhere in the Mediterranean, Cape Hatteras, perhaps a remote Pacific Island, or anywhere your imagination can lead you.

My first impression of Omnia's remix was that it reminded me a lot of their remix of Monogato's Miami Vibe, but sitting beneath the melody of Riddles In The Sand. A nice take on the song, though the original stands out the best for me.
