    Nah..........
Very minimal and bleepy. Nothing interesting here. Nothing like the epic Belgian style techno rave of 1991, or before that, the epic Italian style house techno of 1990, with plenty of weird samples, pianos, and stabs.
UK producers (in general) were very behind of things during 1990, just trying to copy paste, the amateur Detroit sound of 1987-1988, plus the acid house of 1988-1989 into some minimal bleeps during 1990. They had not invented techno yet.

Musically this one? Honesty? Absolute zero, even if i have the vinyl. Shame on me!
I just give 2 stars only for its influence, and popularity.

Eddie at Melodiya (Calgary, AB) gave me a copy for free because "it was too beat to sell". Admittedly the cover was stained and water damaged and it looked like a dog had taken a shit inside while the labels were worn and partially torn and also covered in dirt. After a serious clean I have a high end VG with only a little hiss on the outer edges. Moral: Support your local stores and treat the staff like your good friends in music that they are.

it was played by MTV so many times. but not only in Party Zone but it was possible also during the day. Outside many great techno tunes from first part of 90s...this one was different. Top 10 best ever electronic tracks of our times. It sounds futuristic in 2023...but was realised in 91...

Track 4 deserves a mention. IMO could have been a double A side. Both equally amazing tracks.

It's fascinating, reading Matt Anniss' excellent "Join the Future" book on the history of bleep-and-bass, to learn more about "DJ Martin" Williams' critical role in the genesis of this record, the genre, and LFO. He is an unsung hero in the story. A lot of the bass and clever arranging (how the bass line plays off the "bleep" melodies) of this first release is missed in later LFO works, not to take anything away from what would follow. Even so, there would be no LFO without him.

At the time house music was only played at some underground radio stations in the Netherlands. A great (and only) source for taping music. In 1990 good track after good tracks were being released. Until LFO-LFO came on the radio (with a warning for speakers). It just seemed out of this world. Sounded like it came from another planet. The record was gone within a week in the record shops. Took me 7 years to track one down. Amazing record like much of LFO's work.
