Astral Projection vs. Trilithon Feat. Special K (3) – Burning Up

Im very curious to know how many copies that came with a printed sleeve.

This track is quite good, it's got that '99 style - think along the lines of System F - JP-8000 supersaw, etc.

Very well produced/mixed/mastered.

That said, if you're looking for that classic Trilithon sound à la Prayer, or even that from 4Cast - it's not there. Also absent is that "Trust In Trance" / "Another World" sound from Astral Projection.

To me, it's got more of a Signum/Ferry Corsten sound. A bit of a let down considering the two names I was looking forward to hearing together. That said, still looking for a copy of either 12", please reach out if you've got one to sell!

Strangely, the white label promo is easier to find than the final release.

Anyone have any idea on the numbers produced of each?

This is one fo the first Astral Projection tracks to be released, and is high energy epic trance, unlike most of their productions which happen to fall into the psy/goa trance genre.

This track is well mastered, well layered, and without a doubt one of the greatest trance tracks of all time. I have never heard a single bad thing said about it, and girls love to dance to this track. If not for it's ultra rarity this could have become a major trance track when it came out. Instead it was nearly lost to us, if not for it's digital distribution by Astral Projection on the old MP3.com.
