The people behind ‘Corderoy’ are the 2 UK based brothers Chris and Dale Corderoy. In 2002 Dale wrote and produced a track which he decided to call ‘Sweetest Dreams’. The track started its life out as a one sided white label on ‘Lynx Records’ / ‘Plastic Fantastic’. During this time Ralf Elfving ( was closely involved with Dale promoting the track. It was later reviewed by Guy Ornadel, who hailed it as ‘A great emotive hands in the air Vangelis trance track with excellent key programming, I've no doubt this will be massive at ‘Passion’, ‘Gatecrasher’ and ‘Godskitchen’ - it's a stormer!!’

‘Sweetest Dreams’ then burst into clubland in 2003 armed with its fresh sound won the ‘Lynx White Label Competition’ on Tall Paul’s ‘Kiss 100’ show, the continuing buzz around the track resulted in huge label interest form all across the pond. During the manic few months Graham Gold beat the pack to snap it up for his flag ship release on ‘Relative Records’ (formally known as ‘Good:As’)

Knowing this was going to have massive impact up and coming producer Greg Murray (‘Platipus’ / ‘Lost Language’) was brought in and produced a remix which found a place within many DJ's boxes, Armin van Buuren was a massive admirer of the track as it continued to build up steam. Seeing the reaction the decision was taken to add a top line to the instrumental and through Graham, Liz Cirelli sung the vocals of the track and it went on to receive a major amount of airplay and jumped on various compilations.

This initial run was only a sign of things to come as on first hearing the track, Ferry Corsten requested to remix the track and worked the magic only he can and to established ‘Sweetest Dreams’ as a true anthem! The deal was then made to release the full package world wide on Purple Eye as a release on their ‘Tsunami Special Blend’ label. On March 13 2004 ‘TSUB 9014’ was released, including the famous remix done by Ferry Corsten.

Airplay soon follow on hundreds of radio stations around the world including Kiss FM, Galaxy FM, Radio 1's Dance Anthems to name only a few. Up till now the track has received major support from the likes of Paul van Dyk who produced his own exclusive PvD mix, Armin van Buuren, Dave Pearce, Scott Bond, Matt Hardwick, Adam White and many more!
