Reviews
BBE Games is an amazing record, a rare jewel that spans several music styles.
I first came across this record after listening and enjoying BBE's Seven Days one Week single, and was in the pursuit of listening to more of their music.
I was able to buy this record as an import, and ever since have it on my top 10 trance records.
The first part is a very elegant trance classic sound.
Opening is Tales of History, which will just take your breath away, the beauty of the composition transcends a lot of todays music, and it was already more elegant than much of the stuff produced in 98.
New Romantic, the second track, is up to par with Tales of History, but has an amazing ethereal sound to it.
Probably the best track on the record.
Symphonic Paradise, is the next best track, which later became a single, with vocals, this original record version is definitely the best, clean, without any additional production.
The Bar, The Audience and the Bird, is a musical intermission, a short 57 second tune, probably could have that out of the record...
The more experimental track, Le Grand Theme Ouverture No 6 is an ambient experiment...
The record will change styles from beginning to end, so don't expect a massive trance record, but more of a journey across the different soundscapes of electronic music.
Of course, Seven Days and One Week is the most known track on this record, and it is good, but the entire album is magnificent.
