A little more about how this track got it's name Sunburst, it was actually named after a music festival called Sunburst, and was believed to be the first music festival to be based on Progressive Trance, hence why you've got a progressive mix by pulser on here as for me he was a pioneer of the progessive Trance scene, but don't quote me on it I'm going off what I read on the net, some say Sunburst was not the first Progressive trance music festival but a lot of people say it was.

I used to pick up a lot of Nebula, Serious, Positiva, etc promos from the Music Exchanges in London around the turn of the millennium. Looking at current prices I'm glad I did! This was a great double pack promo. It was always the Pulser mix for me and was the version I heard Jules playing at the time. It's a full on 4am Trance monster, nothing too clever, just an energetic bassline and driving percussion. The complete opposite to the minimal trend of more recent years.

Just like Trainspotting made the track born slippy, kevin & perry was responsible for making the tracks; signum - coming on strong, lange - follow me, southside spinners - luvstruck and indeed sunburst - eyeball.
This is clearly a Matt Darey production, his usual builiding bassline and hands in the air style are all over this, this is the best track in the film for me, all i can think of is eyeball paul eyeballing a vodka...bastard, twat, bollox!! and indeed dj wannabies ginger pubes and sad act!
This double has the johnson dub which was played by seb fontaine and john digweed in 2000, its a nice prog trip totally different ot the original, this mix doesnt feature on the single explaining why this release goes for a lot more. Paul Oakenfold always played the original as did most of the Cream/Gatecrasher crew in 1999, this film and tracks like binary finary 1999, delirium - silence catapulted trance into the milenium.
Seen as a bit of a rarity and collectors item now this should sit high and proud in every trance djs shelf, you do (at times) have to disassociate its kevin and perry connection.
