Starting a clear out
I'm going to be listing some parts of my collection for sale. Starting with some of my more recent purchases that are just sitting un-played so should really find a new/better home.
About Me
I'm a vinyl lover. I've never really got into digital music because I get so much enjoyment from physical media. Artwork sleeves and labels, music that you can hold in your hands and put on a record deck to play.
I started collecting records at about 16 from local record shops and the occasional trip into London (Black Market, Lucky Spin, Unity, Tower Records, Pure Groove, etc). My collection has grown steadily over the years.
I mainly collect:
- UK Hardcore / Jungle (the golden years of 91 to 94)
- Hard Trance / Techno (92 to 95 - think Sven Vath Omen, etc)
- Trance / Hard House (UK, Dutch, German, etc mostly bought new from 1996 onwards)
- New Jungle (from the likes of Criterion, Green Bay Wax, Fresh 86, etc)
I'm always on the lookout for near mint or very good plus vinyl at fair prices.
Thank god for London's Music & Video Exchanges (and Beanos in Croydon) in the late 90's / early 2000's! So many classics picked up at bargain prices.
