Sorry if you already saw a LOT of these topics but looks like I can read hundreds different opinions about which is the best product to clean your records. Mine was in storage for a long time and some of them need something more than the brush.
Can you please recommand me a good product ?

get one of these machines: https://www.amazon.com/SPIN-CLEAN-STARTER-RECORD-WASHER-SYSTEM/dp/B002UKSZUU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1490622157&sr=8-1&keywords=knosti%2Bdisco%2Banti%2Bstatic%2Brecord%2Bcleaning%2Bmachine&th=1
But then instead of using the cleaning fluid that comes with it, you instead get Distilled water and Isopropyl alcohol (99% is the best one, but you can get lower, tho not lower than 90%!). about 2/3 water and 1/3 Isopropyl alcohol. And then you wipe them with a clean, lint-free cloth. Do NOT let the records air dry! Then it will damage the record(s).
It is better ways to clean records as well, but those ways also cost a lot more. Like getting a Okki Nokki machine. -

If you have a large collection and if it's in budget, I would highly recommend the Pro-Ject VC-S Vinyl Cleaner

Kbx_1982Can you please recommand me a good product ?
What's your budget?
And how many records do you have ?
And how much free time to do the cleaning ?
Answer these questions to figure out your needs. Then choose.
My answer was to buy a VPI Cyclone MW-1 for $1100 a year and a half ago. http://www.vpiindustries.com/mw1
Most expensive individual piece of my entire audio system, but worth every penny. While everyone chokes over the price, the part about a VPI that everyone forgets is that as long as they are in good working order, they will always be worth at least 75% of their cost new. I could put mine up for sale for $800 and it would be gone in a heart beat. I can't say the same for other RCMachines, because I don't know that. I can be sure about the VPI though.
The resale value also helped in getting the wife's support of the purchase. -

Tbh, I've spend a lot lately on hardware and vinyls so I don't think I'm able to pay that machine even I think that could be the best choice.
I was looking for a solution but I saw this one but I got a lot of bad reviews about it : https://www.amazon.fr/Produit-de-nettoyage-pour-vinyles/dp/B0015C0YYY/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1490947412&sr=8-2&keywords=vinyl+cleaner -

Alternatively, spend twice as long asking yet again (probably crops up once a week) on the discogs forum in the hope of getting half a dozen conflicting replies over the period of a couple of days.

I'm not an idiot man, I did my search on Google and you know what ? You can see conflicting replies there too, what a surprise ;-) -

This post is hidden because you reported it for abuse. Show this postYeah, but that google search would have returned the results of the last time that question was posed on these forums, and the time before that, and so on... and from the same people responding here. Nothings changed, there's no new methods or magic products on the market, the answers are the same albeit as varied as ever. You've picked a product, try it out. No need for others opinions on it then as you'll be able to form your own. Then share your knowledge here and save the next person having to ask :) -

This post is hidden because you reported it for abuse. Show this postAs far as that product goes i've used it. It shines the vinyl and removes fingerprints quite well, doesn't leave marks unless the record was that dirty that you're just spreading the dirt around. Does it actually clean the record and improve sound? In my opinion not really. Like all cleaners of this type you end up pushing as much crap into the grooves as you might hope to remove. I can put a dirty record in the sink with my dishes and get far better results! lol. -

This post is hidden because you reported it for abuse. Show this postUltrasound. Nucleation. That's the way to go. I'm selling my VPI on eBay because ultrasound is so much better. I can clean records 10-at-a-time in 20 minutes. Most products really do just push the crap deeper into the grooves. Ultrasound knocks it all loose -- and then it's just a question of having clean water with some surfactant so that the crud will stick to the side of the cleaner instead. I also use a little isopropyl just to lower the surface tension. -
