Should we edit variants when added one in order, or not? -

Maybe that's not the case here, I didn't just edit the order. Also that just there maybe implies that you can change the order, given a legit edit, no? -

I remember a ruling from the past where clearly was emphasized that variants have to stay in the order they were entered and not to be reshuffled regarding a so-called order as per runout itself.
Doesn't make sense anyway … it would have to be reordered nearly every time a new variant gets added. Keep it simple. -

Please don't change baoi variant order to suit personal preference.
Discogs variant BaOI numbering is the order in which they were entered at Discogs and not based on which variant would have been pressed earlier or later. -

This post is hidden because you reported it for abuse. Show this postThough I can't at the moment point to a forum post, I'm sure I've read from the higher ups that you cannot reorder the variants. They must be numbered according to the order in which they were entered. Any potential renumbering would mess up anyone who has added notes to their collection and/or listed the item for sale. For example, what one may have listed as "variant 2" may now suddenly be "variant 7" or something else. So, many, many users are potentially affected and most would not even know their notes are now incorrect. -
