I’ve noticed this in tons of year-end lists - and rightfully so. Antinote released many good records this year, both on the dance floor and off. This one sits somewhere in between, projecting a light, summery air wherever it’s played, be it through headphones or a sound system. There’s a sense of psychedelia to be found on this mini-LP, but not in a backwards looking sense - the tracks here straddle a sound that both looks to the past but also to the future.
