Great 100th release for Azuli, amazing how this label has developed over the years, bringing in new sounds and later setting up Azuli Sivler & Black, one of my all time favorite labels. This really was the sound of the time, big filtered funky house.
Morning Star is the mix to go for, it builds slowly and just has that warm summer vibe about it.
I got this on promo & couldn't wait to play it out,

Ahh the memories. This is the vibe of the sun just setting in Ibiza on wax. I very nice track. I really like the way the vocals "float" over the backing. It uses the Sister Sledge sample to great effect - which for some reason was sample another 3-4 times by different artists that year - Hurricane "On + On" was the other biggie that used it also.

I've never really followed the Azuli label that closely but this was an amazing track and a great way for them to celebrate their 100th release. I first heard this one being played by the Sharp Boys on their Kiss 100FM show, and was hooked instantly. It uses the Sister Sledge vocal to great effect and is exactly how I like my House - funky and pumping.
