As someone who doesn't follow Giegling that much, this release came as pleasant surprise. A class EP all round, it's packed full of futuristic minimalism and Detroit influences that somehow transcend current trends. From the twinkling eeriness of 'Jap Collage' to the odd ball touches of 'Walk Free' and 'Hidden Mirror' - there's a lot of detail etched into these grooves.

Edward is very hit and miss, but he definitely hits with this one. When he sets his sights and focuses, he's capable of some pretty great things, as proven here with these slices of old school Detroit-inspired goodness. Like the previous reviewer rightly states, the record has a very 90s, Trelik/Ifach sort of feel to it which is nothing but a good thing. Loving it!

Detroit meets UK Techno Soul, made in Germany. So good, it´s hard to believe this is a 2019 release. Timeless stuff, especially A1 'Jap Collage'. Keep your eyes peeled for a Derrick May / Baby Ford Rmx package :)
Edit: ah, now i remember what it reminds me of, too: FSOL - Accelerator phase. And that means it´s as good as music can possibly be.
