Definitely the best Jarre production. Organic experimental techno / jazz in a fantastic avant-garde atmosphere. Definitely for fans of electonics from the '90s...

Effectively speaking, this is the most overtly jazz music Jean-Michel has published. I feel his father would be quite proud of it.

The album differs from Jarre's work in a number of stylistic ways. Where he's generally known for spacious, fuzzy, atmospheric music (particularly if you're most familiar with just Oxygene), this album has a lot of density. And with that density, a different kind of texture comes along with it.

- If you're expecting a purely electronic affair, you may do well to skip this album.
- If you're looking for something that might point at a bit of Jean-Michel's childhood, being the son of a jazz legend, definitely pick it up.
- If you're a fan of the broad array of style's Jean-Michel Jarre has affected over his career, this is all the more important for how it differs even for him...
- If you're a fan of jazz and/or future jazz, this is an important and satisfying specimen to obtain.

I'm trying to be fair and objective. But, I'm a fan of jazz, future jazz, /and/ Jarre. So, for me, this is almost like finding the golden idol... But, even above all that, I'm a fan of music in general. And this is very simply some truly quality work, the likes of which you don't often find.

Very good album of electronic jazz. Very original there is no other record that sounds like this. But it's a curiosity. Not for the mainstream. You need to dig electronic music to like this. 4/5

Very different release from Jarre. Much more in the Jazz vein, though it's clearly electronic. His other recent releases are dance-oriented, though this is much more quiet and laid back. I think I'm going to like it a lot, though it's a different experience. Still has the wonderful sound that he's so good at creating though, and excellent bass sounds.
