It seems that the blue vinyl edition has had a second run in the UK. Many online retailers are stocking it again ... Norman Records, HMV, Rough Trade...

I just received a blue copy that is relatively quiet and sounds great. It’s quieter than the black copy I tried. I think the issue is with the inconsistency of MPO pressing overall.

Lot of surface noise on my blue vinyl copy. I sent it back and got another one. Same problem, I'll try with a black copy then.

As it can be seen that only one copy was sold on September 19 when many were sold in discogs only on August 29 in a while at least 10 copies were sold, until I bought one that is NOT seen as sold there and subsequent days many more copies were sold, this does not work well. The price history and copies of discogs are not accurate

Sounds less dynamic than the black Polydor pressing, and at some tracks it sounds a bit compressed than the original master - yet it sound pretty awesome and decent at the same time. (and there's this 4 second passage of pops "in hope is a dangerous thing..." which sucks)

It's not true coloured vinyl "always sounds crap". However, you look at the history of Lana D-Rey's ltd colour vinyls and it makes you wonder about the production on them.

I like collecting vinyl. And when you have a lot of black it's nice to vary your collection by having a few coloured versions. However - not at the detriment of sound quality (espeically with Lana and the beauty of her voice - she needs and deserves the highest production values going for her sound to match its quality).

I'm looking forward to listening to this properly. I don't yet know which version of vinyl I am going to get - I'm keeping a keen eye on reviewers' opinions on the vinyl production.

So far Wes Hedley (September 3, 2019) gives the black vinyl the heads up . . .

I purchased the green vinyl from her web store and the quality on my copy is TERRIBLE!!! It sounds like I'm playing the record on the cheapest plastic speakers. VERY HOLLOW and ECHOEY!!! If I raise the volume it sounds even worse. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I guess I'm going to have to buy the standard black vinyl and see if that sounds better.

24,99 on Fnac website ! Still in stock. Don’t pay 40€ or even more on discogs. Crazy sellers who ask 150€, go f**k yourself.
