The leitmotiv is sampled from the French version of the David Lynch movie "Dune".
According to Jackie Meurisse himself this idea of the title came from Bruno Van Garsse.
When I heard "Le Dormeur" in early 1991 on French radio "Maxximum" it hooked me immediatly.
It was the typical SA42 tone but less industrial and more dancefloor oriented, (The acid bass loop is almost the same as "Dead Is Calling").
Pleasure Game launched the fashion of sampling french vocals (Bazz, Galaxie, BST, Angel Ice, 2 Horns, R.I.P., etc...)
The result was huge hit in France and Belgium at the time.
