beautiful remasters and the picture book is a really nice addition too. Great quality

No complaints sound-wise. Nice punchy drums. Jacket is a little smaller than average, but it's not a big deal. A little bit of crackle on first playthrough noticeable on quieter tracks, but that probably could've been avoided if I gave it a clean beforehand. Bought from Sound on Vinyl.

Good pressing, great sound... the only thing weird is the label (side a) printed in the LP is in both sides. But, still got all the tracks complete, so I guess is just a little mistake from the record company.

I bought my copy of this album from the merch table when they played at the Avalon in Hollywood in 2005. It is still in the shrinkwrap with the Slint sticker, but it does not have the barcode sticker with the Touch and Go website. Maybe that was only put on copies destined for record stores?

Have a record with the same runout numbers but green label and it has the same cover than the 1991 euro pressing with EFA distribution and sticker...was there a Euro version of this release ? thought i bought mine in the 90s but maybe not...

Can anyone confirm that the major identifier for a first pressing is that first pressing jacket has 'Jacket made in Canada' on the rear to the left of the (c) info?
And, that none of the subsequent releases have this? A Sealed and Mint copy just come up for sale (for a hefty price) and I want to make sure it can be identified as such before taking the plunge. Cheers in advance!

my label was printed on the wrong sides and "don, amen" along with "for dinner" was missing... :(

The initial pressings all included posters. I grew up in Louisville and bought this the week it came out. I do not recall it having a different label from the ones sold from Touch & Go when I interned there in 1996. My guess is Rainbo just ran out of the standard labels for part of a run. The poster was a horizontal image of a spider taken through a microscope by Noel Saltzman. Early pressings of Touch & Go's "Tweez" reissue included the same poster. A separate larger promotional version of the image with text was printed for display in record shops.
