R&B singer from New Orleans. Local hit "My Plea" on Savoy Records in 1954. Founder member of Huey "Piano" Smith & His Clowns. Recorded for Ace in 1956 and Home Of The Blues in 1961 before he moved to Los Angeles, where he worked with Dr. John and Jessie Hill in the early 1970s.
